Our great subject: “Socialism & Idolatry”.

Before I proceed, I’d like to read from God’s Word, Exodus chapter 20, verse 4 and part of v. 5. “You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them…”

Throughout its history socialism stood in opposition to God and to those who believed in Him.  Bibles were destroyed and believers became martyrs for their faith. But they understood well that the sacred place inside of people’s hearts cannot remain empty, it had to be filled with something.  And ugly socialistic religion was there for that purpose.  Looking back at Soviet socialism, I see that they had it all: their unholy Trinity, their atheistic bible and their godless paradise. Wherever you would go, whether government office, school or hospital, you’d see those socialist idols staring at you. While Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels were representing invisible part, like father and ghost, Vladimir Lenin became embodiment of their messiah. According to the words of the Soviet poet of 1920^th Vladimir Mayakovski: “Lenin lived, Lenin lives, Lenin will live!” Someone may say: “But it was almost 100 years ago!” Well, as recently as in April this year at the event dedicated to Lenin’s 140^th birthday the leader of Russian Communist party Gennady Zyuganov declared: “I know that Lenin’s teachings, Leninist way of thinking and action will continue to inspire us to new victories. Long live Lenin! Long live socialism!” After Lenin’s death his body was embalmed and placed in Mausoleum @ Moscow’s Red Square. It became the object of a pilgrimage for millions of proletarian worshippers from around the world. Thousands of Lenin statues and busts were erected everywhere in Soviet Union and other countries. New traditions were created for this new idolatry. For example, one of Soviet traditions was for a newly wed to lay flowers and make pictures at the feet of a statue of “grandpa” Lenin. Main Avenue of my hometown in the Ukraine, one of the longest in Europe, still has Lenin’s name and his statue. To prove that socialism idolatry is still alive in that part of the world, listen to this news: on May 5^th of this year next to the local office of communist party in my hometown in spite of many protests was erected statue of Joseph Stalin.

Lets go for a moment to a Soviet school. Unlike in America, where we have elementary, middle and high school, in USSR all students were in one school building. But they were divided in three similar age groups for socialist brainwashing. Elementary group was called “octyabryata” and had to wear red star badge with Lenin idol on it. Middle group was called pioneers and had to wear red scarf around their necks; don’t confuse it with rednecks, LOL, like Soviet red flag, it had to remind of the blood socialist revolutionaries shed, fighting for communist utopia. High or senior group was called Komsomol, they had to wear flag shaped badge also with Lenin idol face on it. You see, Lenin was a senior idol and his images, statues, busts had to be everywhere. But sculptors were busy making statues and busts of other idols, like Marx, Engels, Stalin, Dzerzhinsky, Brezhnev and others. Whole Soviet system was set up to encourage people into this socialist idolatry. Communists or socialists, whatever you call them, they knew that without worshipful attitude in the masses it would be hard to control them and force them to work for the utopian heaven on earth. Therefore, whole soviet culture had to be a gigantic worship team leading masses into this socialist idolatry. Songs, movies, books, poetries, drawings and other cultural things and events were produced and reproduced depicting life and achievements of Lenin and other communists. Every major city had so called “pioneer palace” built to influence vulnerable young souls. Kids were attending there arts, dance and other classes. Of course by now you should understand the ideological foundation of such classes. Unfortunately, Soviet socialist idolatry still has its place in former Soviet republics. Republic of Belarus never got rid of socialist system, but such countries as Russia and Ukraine also have large numbers of communists who regularly organize their meetings, erect new statues of their idols and even spread their propaganda among young people. Same as people are forgetting the horrors of Holocaust and allow neo-fascism’s existence, many former soviet people tend to forget horrors of GULAG and artificial famines when corpses were laying in piles on the streets and entertaining themselves with yet another, better socialism. Unfortunately, America has Lenin idol in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood and some other places. Well, worse than that, the kind of worshipful attitude current American socialist president receives from his fans sets him as another idol, another, American, Lenin. As a believer in God I clearly see demonic, occult connection in such idolatry that was then, in Soviet Union and is sprouting now in America. But, whether you believe in God or not, please believe me, socialism survivor that America will be a better place and will have better and happier future if socialism idolatry will be forever eradicated and prohibited here. Great nations and empires that allowed idolatry to dominate disappeared. Don’t allow it to happen to America, our home, sweet home!

Soviet culture

Let’s talk now about the culture – under and above socialism.  What I mean by saying that?  Speaking of culture under socialism I mean socialist culture, for example one that I survived in Soviet Union.  Of course, other countries, like China, North Korea or Cuba can boast of their exceptional socialist culture.  When I speak of culture above socialism, I mean something that is absolutely unacceptable for socialists and communists.  Because it is the culture that overcomes socialism, it is the culture that was introduced to us since the creation of this world by our Creator – God.  It is the culture that helped us to survive Soviet tyranny, the culture that gave me the song of victory when I was persecuted and all my life was in danger.  And if you’ve never experienced what I did, but you live today in America – it is the culture that this country needs today in order to overcome socialist invasion and survive as a free nation under God, not being enslaved by the New World Order.

Capitalists or Socialists?

Let me first to talk more about Soviet culture under socialism. While Soviet Union boasted of its multinational cultural mix, first, it was dominated and dictated by a much larger Russian culture;second, it was dominated and dictated by the ideology of Marxism Leninism.  Although in the beginning of the Soviet era when my grandfather was a young man Soviet culture had relative freedoms, eventually the freedom of speech and expression was suppressed and many famous writers, poets, artists and actors had to flee to other countries.  Many of those who decided to stay either committed suicide, or were destroyed by the Soviets regime.  The rest of the people of culture either went underground, or became compliant to ideological demands of Soviet communist party.  Because everything was controlled by communists – radio and TV, publishing and newspapers, theaters and concert halls – it is important to mention a few things that dominated so called Soviet culture.

First – favoritism.  You couldn’t openly do anything within Soviet culture, unless you were a member of communist party, or at least they liked you and you agreed with them.  In one of my podcasts I already told you the story of a young Soviet poet and your host Alex, who was denied publication of his poetries and appearance on a local radio, because he was a part of religious group that disagreed with socialism and actively opposed it.

Second – censorship.  Every artistic expression had to be censored, before it was published or shown to the public, in order to eliminate the opposition to Soviet socialist ideology.  For example, someone wanted to publish his book.  Of course, he took it to the publisher who then gave it to the censor.  After the censor corrected everything he could and probably completely changed your story, you had been left with only two choices: either you accept censor’s version of your books, or take it home and hope that KGB won’t conduct a search in your home to confiscate your book and you won’t to be arrested for disagreeing with one brilliant socialist thinker that censored your book.

Third is servility in the Soviet culture when those who nursed and pleased communist party elite were not only allowed to publish and perform, but they were awarded with the titles of either national artist or honored artist which provided them extra income and entitled them to other privileges.  If someone wanted to run up fast on the ladder of success, at least his first artistic work, whether book, painting or performance had to be filled with praises to communist party and its leaders.

And fourth thing I would like to mention here is corruption.  If you had money you could bribe your path to success.  Although officially bribery was considered a crime, it was widely used in Soviet Union to buy the favor of government officials when nothing else would help.

Of course, for Soviet culture your artistic goals didn’t matter because it had its higher goals with the creation of the Utopian society at the top.  Other goals that served the top one were:

-          destruction of individual thinking, while replacing it with the mentality of Soviet collectivism;

-          Discrediting and eliminating any form of religious worship, while

-          Transforming people into worshipers of communist party, its ideology and its leaders.

-          Changing traditional attitude toward family and marriage when abortions were allowed and divorce was easily obtained.  News

Not everyone was happy with those goals, but you see, our happiness outside of the bright utopian future wasn’t considered.  In socialist system individual pursuit of happiness is prohibited because it opposes collective fools chasing socialism mirage.

Their opposition to our pursuit of happiness forced us to oppose them with our underground, dissident culture.  Books and poems, anecdotes and songs were written or recorded in basements and then spread among people.  Communist militia arrested us, confiscated our books and tapes, they tortured to us in GULAG, but we were the people and they couldn’t stop all of us.  I was probably 12 years old when I wrote my first poetries and a little bit older when I give birth to my first songs.  In poems, songs, short stories I expressed my faith in God and my opposition to socialism.  As I already shared with you in another podcast because of one short story discovered during the search, conducted by Soviet militia, I was subjected to intensive interrogation by the KGB officer.  During the last three years of Soviet Union’s existence I could be often seen on the streets and squares of many Soviet cities with my guitar and harmonicas, playing, while being surrounded by large crowds.  Militia or Soviet police tried to disseminate the crowd and even arrest me so I often was escorted by my listeners away from police reach.  Well, it was perestroika time, one time I was taken into police car, but then released.  I think, they also could feel that the tide is turning.  Little by little, like a tender sprout that breaks pavement to get to the sun, our culture of victory was breaking through the concrete shield of socialistic culture.

Let’s talk now about America and its culture.  Borders, language and culture… Here, in America I often hear these three words together, in one context. About protecting borders I already told you America needs to protect borders like Soviets did, or even better, in order to survive. I don’t have a lot to say about language, other than I do speak on different levels at least 6 languages and I wish I could know Spanish too. Bu, speaking about American culture, it’s hard for me to accept as such a lot what I see and hear today.  Socialist propaganda along with sexual perversion is dominating Hollywood and U.S. media.  Family values state by state are losing its ground.  Children in schools are taught sex and trained to worship their great socialist messiah.  Playboy is on people’s shelves, screens and minds.  Corrupted politicians are destroying this country. Is this the American culture you want to protect?  No, no, no, not me!  I am not America like that!  I prefer to stand with true patriots, like Krista Branch, singing “I and America”, meaning different America, the one that was envisioned by its founders, the one that will arise from the ashes, that will shine in its purity and victory… I hear Liberal Media crying about Krista Branch: who is she!!! She was rejected by American idol! Well, that works for me when someone is rejected by American Idol, but approved by American God! Because He is my God too! And I will continue to stand with people, like Krista Branch and her husband Mike, transforming our dream about America into reality.

Today I’m talking about Infectious Insanity of socialism.  I can’t keep silent when I see how socialistic Insanity is spreading like swine flu pandemic throughout America and around the world.  Those socialists, they think insane, they speak insane, they act insane and their spending is insane.  In their insanity they trash America like there is no future.  Or maybe they don’t want us to have a future?  Although it’s hard to analyze socialism insanity with a sane logic of our sound minds, will try to do the best we can.  According to the Wikipedia “insanity” means a spectrum of behaviors characterized by certain abnormal mental or behavioral patterns. Insanity may manifest as violations of societal norms, including becoming a danger to themselves and others.  It is also synonymous with craziness or madness. It looks to me like not only the majority of politicians, but a large portion of American population and definitely almost all media got infected with insanity which especially was so obvious before and during the elections in 2008.  Listen to this. You probably heard it two years ago but I would like to remind it for our analysis purpose.

Did you hear that? Then Illinois senator and Presidential candidate, he said he visited 57 States, plus one more to go, plus Alaska and Hawaii where he wasn’t allowed to go, total – 60 States!  I think that he got elected because the residents of socialist states 51 through 60 vastly outnumber residents of other 50 states. You know what? Let’s send him to rule over his 10 insane states and leave other 50 U.S. states free from his presence!

This alone was enough for me to see what kind of candidate he is.  Yes, we could play for hours and hours the sound bites of stupidity and insanity that his doped head produced, but even one that you just heard is enough to make sane decision.  Americans, you’ve heard what his Rev. Wright from the left said about America?  You knew about his friendship with Bill Ayers and Marxist professors.  Going back to Wikipedia definition of insanity I make a conclusion from everything I hear and see that this man shows abnormal mental and behavioral patterns; he violates societal norms and he’s pretty dangerous for this country.  As much as he sounds so funny, I repeat, he is a very dangerous for this country!  Listen to the next sound bite and think if with this kind of speeches he was able to pass his socialistic healthcare, how much more harmful he can be for America?

He said he didn’t have enough sleep.  Well, let me tell you, people with sleep deprivation are much more susceptible to insanity.  In Soviet Gulags many people signed accusations against themselves simply after being kept awake for many days.  After that kind of torture people lost their minds, they became crazy or insane.  I think, this man that you just heard had a serious problem with sleep deprivation through all his life, wasting his time, by listening to his Marxist professors and friends.  And now he wants us to listen to him, his insane speeches instead of sleeping so we too could lose our minds to socialist ideology.  The same as our body’s immunity is low when we lack good night sleep and we are easily attacked by viruses, are minds also can be infected with socialism insanity during sleep deprivation periods.  Therefore here is my first infection preventive advice to you: have enough hours of sleep every day.  Don’t take any complicated or suspicious information when you are tired and wasn’t sleeping for a long time. Also if you didn’t listen to my podcasts before, you need to listen to number three about propaganda and number six about Psychopolitics. Then you will understand better what I’m talking about here today. We have limits in our mortal bodies, we need to understand that.  Socialists want to exploit us beyond our limits.  And they may try to convince you that you have some hidden, unused resources that are designed to be used for the good of humanity which literally means their New World Order.

Let me help you.  Here is where my interpretive skills can be useful again.  I can interpret it easily, here is what she said:

-          If you really want to know how smart you are, how intelligent you are, how brilliant you are, we need to brainwash you first.

You’ve got that?  OK.  Let’s move on.  People that you’ve just heard speaking, president, congressmen or congresswomen, they are elected by us as our servants to represent our will, to reflect how smart, intelligent and wise we are when they speak from their pulpits.  Speaking about Health Care, please tell me how these servants can have better Health Care, than they want to impose on us?  Can you see what happens when those carriers of insanity virus are in a majority?  It’s time that they start listening to us and become willing to pass through disinfection.  Think of what would be done during the worst possible pandemic?  Those who got infected would be isolated.  You would keep yourself and your children away from any infected places or people.  At that times even if your relatives would ask to stay with you, you would quarantine them first, before allowing them into your house.  Did you want to know how and why we need to treat those bearers of socialism insanity in a very specific way? Insane socialists are very dangerous and should be isolated. They may fit well in the camps and mental institutions that they prepared for us! Quarantine them! It’s a critical time! Socialism pandemic is on the march to destroy this country, to murder the majority of you. It’s time to stay alert, it’s time to act. Those insane socialist they probably won’t listen to you, because infection transformed them into zombies. As a good sign of that you will see when they care more for world order than American order. Remember, they are only who they are elected to be: either President of America, or congressman of America, or Senator of America! Not of the World, or American Union. Only America, America, America! American Order, period! Those who put their noses into foreign affairs must be removed and isolated! All those members of international clubs, lodges and groups must be removed from any position of power and influence. Those of them, who committed any kind of crimes, whether financial or ethical, must be sentenced to labor camps. Those monsters that destroyed American economy, that made millions of Americans jobless, they need to learn a lesson what real job is, so no more prison cells with TV’s and entertainment for them. They need to pay the same price for their sins as anyone else. Those thieves must know, the time is coming when they will be sued for their crimes. We know their names and we know what they did. When they are sworn into the office they put their hands on the Bible, therefore Biblical laws should be applied to them. Just because they always smile, drive nice cars, live in beautiful homes and wear very expensive suits, it doesn’t make them less dangerous, than homeless insane who wear stinky rags and live somewhere in the forest or under the bridge. The law and punishment must be equal for everyone. If anyone wants to be forgiven, let him pray to God for that.

American citizens should organize more than just Tea Parties. Special groups must be organized for economical, judicial and moral restoration of America. The area of education needs our special attention. The institution of marriage and family needs better constitutional protection guaranteed. Many great civilizations disappeared because of sexual immorality. Therefore, in order to protect America from such the ends, it must be treated as criminal offense. Maybe it sounds too radical for someone, but our response to Rules for Radicals followers must be radical too. Without it we will lose. Without radical conservative approach to action America will be lost. I’m not saying that resurrection and restoration after that will be impossible, but that our generation may never see it. For Soviet Union it took 74 years to break socialism yoke and it’s impossible to predict how long it will take here.

Surviving American socialism with Soviet humor is my subject in this week’s show. Socialism brings many hardships and trials to people’s everyday lives; it is manifested not only in major nationwide events, but in many little things that our lives are made of, like work, food, transportation, rest, health, communication, etc. After being so serious for so long, I’ve noticed that many shows lacked good Russian or Soviet humor.  To correct that, I have few funny stories that will make you laugh.  But of course not only for the sake of fun, but these stories fit in today’s America as well as they used to be very relevant in Soviet Union many, many years ago.

Let’s take the economy.  In the Soviet Union, when Leonid Brezhnev was the leader of the Soviet communist party and our socialist motherland we used to hear all the time his famous statement: “The economy must be economical”.  Do you think American leaders could learn something from it?  I do.  If you’re aware of what they’re doing to American economy, I think Leonid Brezhnev would not be hired here today as presidential adviser on the economy.

OK, let’s hear something from Soviet past and America’s future.

- Doctor!  Lately I am chased by manic worries for the condition of Soviet economy!

- Don’t worry my friend!  There’s no such thing as Soviet economy.  It simply doesn’t exist; it’s a myth, delirium! Did you drink too much vodka recently?

Q: What is the exchange rate between a ruble, a dollar, and a pound? A: One pound of rubles equals one dollar.

Americans purchased Lenin’s body and placed it in a little display at the top of the Empire State Building.  One day Lenin gets up, gazes down on New York, and says with a smile of a deep satisfaction, “What a beauty! Exactly as I was telling the comrades what our future would be!”

After Great October Socialist Revolution three thankful farmers from faraway village came to Saint-Petersburg, Russia to see Lenin and to express their appreciation to great leader for what he has done for them. They brought him bread, cheese, eggs and other food. When they left after short conversation, Lenin called his chief security officer and said with sparks of love and tenderness in his eyes:

-          We need to thank those men. That one, with long beard – hang him up! Another one, in long leather coat – shoot him! Third, youngest – send him to the labor camp.

And Lenin’s face once again radiated with his irresistible, charming smile…

Here’s Soviet Army story. Three soldiers, Ivanov, Petrov and Sidorov were on the leave till 6 pm. At 6:05, commander sees private Ivanov at the gate.

-          Private Ivanov! You are late!

-          I’m sorry, sir, while on a date, I looked at my watches – Oh, my gosh, it’s 5:30! I ran to the bus stop – too late! I took a taxi – but it broke on the way. I saw horses in a field, jumped on one but it died on the way here and I had to run 3 more miles.

-          Good job, private Ivanov, you can come in.

In five more minutes, another soldier arrives.

-          Private Petrov! Why are you so late?

-          Sir, do not punish me, please! I was on my date, when I looked at my watches – Oh, my gosh, it’s 5:30! I ran to the bus stop, but it was too late! I took a taxi – but it broke down. I saw horses in a field, took one but it died on the way here and I had to run 3 more miles…

-          Ok, Petrov, get in!

Soon the last one shows up.

-          Private Sidorov! What’s your problem?

-          Sir! While on a date, I looked at my watches – Oh, my gosh, it’s 5:30! I ran to the bus stop, but it was too late! I took a taxi…

-          Yeah, yeah… I know, you taxi got broken, you got a horse, your horse died…

-          No, sir, we had to detour because of two dead horses that blocked the road.

In Soviet Union, many single people, who moved from villages to the cities, searching for work, lived in dormitories that usually belonged to the factories that they worked for. In Russian the word for “dormitory” literally means “common living”. Usually men’s and women’s dormitories were separate. But, at night young people, ignoring all the norms of socialistic morals, easily found the way to each other. Such a dense concentration of human beings was as fertile ground for many funny stories.

Here is a question:

-          What is a difference between men’s and women’s dormitories?

The answer:

-          In women’s dorm dishes are washed after the meal. In men’s dorm – before the meal.

What was a man’s key to women’s dorm? A bottle of Soviet champagne.

If you came from the village to the city looking for a job with dormitory, you had more chances for a success if you brought favorite Soviet berry! What was favorite Soviet berry? Bribery! If you were stopped by soviet highway patrol, that “berry” was the best solution to your problems. If you needed special treatment from soviet universal healthcare, you better had that berry with you too.

Let me tell you what jokes and socialism survival have in common. Jokers always were favorites of the kings. Even Soviet tyrant Stalin liked humor. Even in Soviet labor camps jokers, entertainers were able to escape hard work and survive. When I was in Moscow detention center for underage, every night was like a joker’s competition. Many jokes were about former and present Soviet leaders. While unable to overthrow socialist regime, people expressed their disrespect to soviet leaders through many anecdotes. It was their declaration of independence from the oppressive socialist system. Socialists eventually learned a lesson and in their Rules for Radicals you can find that when they cannot win the argument, they use mocking the opponent as their weapon. We, as conservatives, need to learn how to fight back with better and sharper jokes. And here’s something to learn from former soviet people. We need to launch successful counterattacks against their liberal deceitful propaganda while having fun at the same time. Because at the end of the day people may not remember any political slogans from either side, but they will remember the best jokes. And it should be ours!

I would like to begin with the excerpts from Mikhail Gorbachev’s book “Perestroika”, published in November 1987. I hope I’m talking to historically educated public that knows who Gorbachev was during last 6 years of Soviet Union’s existence. If not, then check in Wikipedia and return to this podcast. Here’s what Gorbachev, author of perestroika, wrote in his book:

Perestroika means overcoming the stagnation process, breaking down the braking mechanism, creating a dependable and effective mechanism for acceleration of social and economic progress and giving it greater dynamism.

Perestroika means mass initiative. It is the conference of development of democracy, socialist self-government, encouragement of initiative and creative endeavor, improved water and discipline, more glasnost, criticism and self-criticism in all spheres of our society. It is utmost respect for the individual and consideration for personal dignity.

Perestroika is the all-round intensification of the Soviet economy, the revival and development of the principles of democratic centralism in running the national economy, the universal introduction of economic methods, the renunciation of management by injunction and by administrative methods, and the overall encouragement of innovation and socialist enterprise.

Perestroika means a resolute shift to scientific methods, an ability to provide a solid scientific basis for every new initiative. It means the combination of the achievements of the scientific and technological revolution with a planned economy

Perestroika means priority development of the social sphere aimed at ever better satisfaction of the Soviet people’s requirements for good living and working conditions, for good rest and recreation, education and health care. It means unceasing concern for cultural and spiritual wealth, for the culture of every individual and society as a whole.

Perestroika means the elimination from society of the distortions of socialist ethics, the consistent implementation of the principles of social justice. It means the unity of words and deeds, rights and duties. It is the elevation of honest, highly-qualified labor, the overcoming of leveling tendencies in pay and consumerism. . . .

I stress once again: perestroika is not some kind of illumination or revelation. To restructure our life means to understand the objective necessity for renovation and acceleration. And that necessity emerged in the heart of our society. The essence of perestroika lies in the fact that it unites socialism with democracy and revives the Leninist concept of socialist construction both in theory and in practice. Such is the essence of perestroika, which accounts for its genuine revolutionary spirit and its all-embracing scope.

The goal is worth the effort. And we are sure that effort will be a worthy contribution to humanity’s social progress.

Wow, that sounds so good!  Those socialists are masters in powdering people’s brains.  They want to rebuild, they want to reconstruct and we should pay for it with our lives.

I lived in Soviet Union for many years; I’ve been there through all perestroika years, witnessing with my own eyes, with my own experience, that socialism, as it was exercised by Soviet regime, simply didn’t work.  Agriculture was destroyed by collectivization when government robbed people of their goods and forced them to work as the slaves.  Many people abandoned villages and moved to the cities.  Most of all those who loved working on the land were robbed first, of their faith in God by forced godlessness and, second, of their initiative to grow food, because the product of their hard work was taken from them.  For many years Soviet economy depended on its huge oil fields.  Basically, profits from oil were used to buy the wheat.  But when the oil prices went down, there was nothing else in the dying economy to replace the loss.  I remember well long lines we had to withstand in grocery stores to buy food.  And even there your ability to buy was limited by the quantity of coupons you had for specific items.  Godless society largely ignored eighth commandment -do not steal.  People were stealing from their workplaces whatever they could and exchanged it on the black market for food or other goods.  What was obvious for the little guy like me, Alex, I’m pretty sure was obvious for Gorbachev too.  Member of the Soviet communist party from 1950, high ranking party apparatchik for many years, he of course knew much more, than the majority of simple Soviet people.  But, instead of abolishing ideals of socialism, he thought things could be fixed simply by its reconstruction because that’s what perestroika means – reconstruction, restructuring, rebuilding.  It’s like when you have an old house that you want to make bigger, but you don’t have enough material resources to strengthen its foundation and to build walls for new stories; so you keep enlarging your house by pulling bricks from below to build new walls on the top.  What eventually will happen?  The house will collapse!  That’s exactly what happened with the Soviet Union.  Gorbachev believed in socialism, he believed it was good, just the way it was practiced by Soviet Union for many years was wrong.  Therefore he envisioned the reconstruction, not destruction.  He didn’t plan the freedom that eventually came because his plan was based on the continuing dominance of socialist ideology that would eventually bring millions of Soviet slaves into the better utopian future.

Let’s discuss couple excerpts from Gorbachev’s book.  Here is first: Perestroika means mass initiative.  Tell me, what kind of initiative you can expect from slaves?  Only free people can produce initiative.  But socialism is alien for those who are free; its chains won’t be voluntarily worn by those who know the taste of freedom.  Therefore mass initiative resulted not in the construction, but in destruction of Soviet System, because the chains of the slavery were too heavy and for too many years.  Those of us who survived that kind of socialism and living now in America, we refuse to wear socialist chains again.  Whether you call it perestroika or change –we won’t be fooled by empty socialist promises.  I’d rather have capitalism that produces new bricks, than the stupidity of socialism that builds on self-destruction.

Here’s another excerpt from Gorbachev book. The essence of perestroika lies in the fact that it unites socialism with democracy and revives the Leninist concept of socialist construction both in theory and in practice.  The revival of Leninism would be the worst thing for any country, whether in theory or in practice.  While been taught from kindergarten that Lenin was our good grandpa, we later learned that he hated people and ordered to imprison and kill many.  We don’t need another cult of personality; we don’t need another tyranny that would be created by hybridizing socialism with democracy.  It would be equal to the marriage between human and pig.  While such a union is acceptable for American liberals, it’s not acceptable for me; I hope neither for you, my listeners.

For many years socialists were singing, that they will build their new world, where nobody will become everything.  Later they were applying the same principle, trying to build something from nothing.  Whether you call it perestroika or change, those socialists are not miracle workers.  Something will not appear from nothing.  Something comes from hard work of honest and diligent people who are allowed to enjoy the fruits of their labor without fear of losing everything they worked for.

There is something more in relation between the current White House resident and former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev.  I’m researching that now and will present to you in one of my future podcasts.

Maybe your leftist friends, colleagues and politicians are trying to convince you of opposite, saying that we need to move from unhappy independence to happy dependence. When I hear them saying that, they sound like drug addicts to me. Actually, the illustration of a drug addiction will help us to better understand words “dependence” and “dependency”. Most of the sources I’ve consulted think it’s the same. It wasn’t easy for me, Ukrainian-born to see the difference. I found it in the area of drug addiction. “Dependency” is often used to describe drug addiction. It’s like the imaginary string that ties the addict to his drug and restricts his freedom, like a dog on a leash. Dependence is the state of the addict, tied by one or more dependencies.

In previous podcasts I’ve spoken a lot about different conditions of socialism that qualify to be admitted as dependencies that bring dependence into your life. In fact, everything socialistic, by its ideological origin, has predisposition or is premeditated in its creation for making and keeping human masses dependent. Unfortunately, majority of American people missed the warning signals that these thieves of their independence are coming and welcomed them directly into their lives and subsequently – into White House and as US congress majority. The biggest warning for everyone, who experienced and survived socialism is when someone else, like president, government, decides what is the best for you, when they promise to take care of your needs, instead of encouraging you to be in charge of your life. Whether universal health-care, public government-controlled education, government-owned or at least controlled economy, media, science, culture, food production and distribution – it is all there for your total dependence on a system that exists for it’s own purpose, definitely not for you to feel good and be happy. Even while living in Soviet Union we knew that man is the smith of his own happiness. Don’t expect anyone else to forge the happiness for you. Behind the promise of common good and equal opportunity stands repressive machine, run by millions of apparatchiks, who won’t be equally poor and dead as you. While you, your family and friends were wishing each other Happy Independence, this machine kept moving America towards total dependence, which is happy for them, but unhappy for us, of course. To make you to agree with those operators of socialist machine, you must be placed inside of the illusion and develop dependency, or addiction to it. It’s like a drug addict is dependent on his drugs in order to live in his illusory world. While many put all blame on current American socialist president and I agree, he has his share in it, the process of pushing American people like a cattle into a drug addiction, both in direct and metaphorical meaning, started many years ago with active participation of both, Republican and Democrat politicians. While, I’m totally against socialistic healthcare, which killed my mother when she was just 42, I also have strong impression by personal first-hand observance that in big part of today’s American medicine all boils down to making patients chemically dependent from many varieties of pills that, while supposedly heal something, in fact make people more physically and mentally sick, which allows doctors to write additional prescriptions. People are convinced by pseudo-science that they and their children have some kind of mental disorders, which leads to making totally healthy people dependent on heavy toxic chemical drugs, destructive to the minds and lives of this nation. Even in Soviet Union we had more access to the natural healing, than here in America. My brother died in California 33 years old; after my own investigation I’m convinced it happened because his doctor without any tests prescribed him antibiotics that had reverse effect. Another kind, or metaphorical dependency is forced upon American people through the media and entertainment, filled with brain-damaging poisons of socialist propaganda. Both, chemical and media dependencies that are forced on American people have exactly defined goals: to make people unwilling or unable to resist; to make people under the influence to believe that illusion is reality and reality is illusion, the perfect situation for socialist to lead masses from unhappy independence into the slavery of “happy dependence”. My friends, long ago somebody decided to care for you, thinking they know better what is good for your physical and mental health. Somebody decided to transform America you know into a New America, where your Happy Independence will be replaced with Unhappy Dependence. It’s time for you to cut off any dependency and take care of your own physical and mental health. Learn the means and methods, God your Creator designed for your health and happiness. Chemicals are not only destroying your life, but also being paid by you, put millions of dollars in the bank accounts of those socialist new world order masters, who like hawks are preying on you, waiting to strike you in your weakest moment by dependency, forever separating you from the Happy Independence, that was given to you by the founding fathers and your Heavenly Father.

It looks for me like golf is not anymore a game of rich capitalists, as American socialist President is such golf lover. Does it mean that golf is now finally available for working class as a part of their class struggle win? Well. I never played big golf, only mini-golf, but could try it if this President would invite me to teach him truth about socialism in exchange for golf lessons. As for now here’s my free lesson to everyone on this great game and what it has to do with today’s events. We can take any part of this game and talk of it as of golf course, clubs and balls. But I will talk about golf as HOLE. Because that’s where is aiming this so-called President, the iron driver of socialism. Because nothing else in golf attracts this man, as hole. Obviously, the man is attracted to what or who he is, although looking at that hole he visualizes his enemies, the enemies of Alinsky-style socialism golf game that he learned from his Marxist professors and from the Rules for Radicals. That’s new golf rules, as of January 2009. Hey, Rush! (I’m talking to Limbaugh) Either abandon this game, or follow new rules. The rule # 1 for this game:

-         We need a crisis. If there’s none – create it!

In those days when America faces crisis after crisis, where we can find American President? On a golf course, of course! When there is crisis, he can play his game, reaffirming himself that he is calm and cool. Don’t forget, that’s what you elected him for, so he could play his game, following his rules. As of now it shouldn’t be called golf anymore, but “socialist messiah game”. As you must remember, his prophet, Joe The Biden, acting as if he was John The Baptist (well at least their initials are the same), predicted before elections that newly elected 47-years old President will be tested by international crisis. Sorry, Catholics, you better say “good bye” to your long time member. He, who once felt that “God had played a horrible trick” on him, because his wife and daughter were killed in accident, is now playing horrible tricks on God and American people, mowing grass on a course of his messiah’s political game. And the game they are paying in the Gulf Of Mexico course of events fits the rules I just described.

Let’s look at this situation in the Gulf and messiah golf game as whole. Yes, it’s inseparable; you should see it as whole. Because from the day # 1, as they like to say, they saw this oil spilling hole as the opportunity for their game, as according to their rules “no crisis can be wasted”. American people, according to their game rules, you can be wasted! Gulf of Mexico can be wasted. Dolphins and turtles, pelicans and seagulls can be wasted. Beaches can be wasted. Fishing and shrimp businesses can be wasted. In the first days after oil rig explosion, as President walked down his golf course towards the hole, he had two options. First was to contain the oil spill, burning it or allowing to collect it from the surface, preventing it from reaching the shore. That’s what real President, who loves his country, would do. But this socialist golfer, who hates America and you, American people, selected second option – to extend his gulf course from the hole to the shoreline, to let the crisis expand, so it might affect people’s lives. He ripped 20 billions off BP, so you could look at him, your messiah, with thankful tears in your eyes while check is handed to you. Now, to keep receiving checks, you need to do only 3 things: to raise you voices against “evil oil industry”; to cheer his Cap & Trade rip-off project, by keeping it’s proponents in congress and to re-elect him as President in 2012. As a special socialist golfer’s thanks, you’ll receive from him a 4 inch red plastic tees for your first socialist tee party at the Gulf course of Mexico, while watching a miracle, as gulfing messiah strikes his balls and contains the spilling hole. And then in the eyes of amazed world he declares that from now on all Americans are his “golfers”. No, you don’t actually have to or will play golf, all you will need to do is to hold your red tee upside down with a little red flag attached to it, while attending soviet style government-controlled tee-party demonstrations in support of false messiah’s socialistic agenda.

That’s what happens to such great game when community organizer steps down on a golf course: it becomes “gulf curse” and this country as whole falls in a big black hole, which is as deep and dangerous as hole of this new age socialist Golfer.

Back to my Father’s Garden… subject! Driving early in the morning on Father’s Day, I was listening to Self-Sufficient Homestead show and was greatly surprised when Johnny Max announced me as one of the winners in a special drawing among those who linked to heirloomseedswap.com. What a great Father’s Day gifts! But the same time I was saddened by the DDOS attacks on Self-Sufficient Homestead that started after I was interviewed by Johnny Max and the Queen. The attack resulted in their web hosting shut down twice. Knowing, how much they do in order to bring interesting and useful content to their listeners, I thought I would dedicate this show to people like them. I dedicate it to real fathers. I dedicate it also to my ancestors, who were great gardeners.  This show will be very short, as I had to switch quickly to another subject, but I hope you’ll enjoy it. I dedicate this show also to our Heavenly Father, who created the first and most beautiful garden. Let’s read about it from the Bible. Genesis chapter 2, verses 8, 9 and 15: “Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil… The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” You see, Father-God creates first man and first garden. And after His God’s job as Creator, He immediately creates first job in human history. What is it? A Gardener! Did you ever see that misleading drawings of Adam and Eve walking in the Garden of Eden? Not “working” in the Garden of Eden! Did you ever think artists were lying to you? Did you think of paradise as a great vacation Adam and Eve had in that garden? I know, some even think it’s the perfect picture of communism… drawn by misinformed artists! Let’s say, God is government and Adam and Eve are people. After what you’ve heard from the Bible, do you think people were placed there to wait for government to feed them from golden spoon as babies? Or God provided them with a job? Do you hear me? That’s how I take you back to my Father’s Garden. As Adam’s descendants, we all were created gardeners. It doesn’t matter if you seat all day long in 8 by 8 office cube, you are gardener too, you just don’t know that yet… Well now you know, as I just told you that!

Our Father hooked us, His children, to a beautiful garden to work in it and to take care of it. What are your children hooked to, when you leave early to your job and come back home late? PlayStation? Secretly browsing porn sites? When finally your kids go out with you on Saturday or Sunday, do they eat the fruit of their hard work, or you feed them with Big Mac and fries? Do your kids hear from you the plan for action and work assignment, or only complaints, that government didn’t do for you this and government didn’t do for them that!? Ah, sorry, you’re Christian and you’re upset that I’m teaching you from Jewish Bible, or as you like to call it – “O-L-D Testament”. Well, let’s look together in New Testament – you won’t find there neither socialism, nor Communism. And I detest so called Christian socialism as a false religion. Here Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians, 4:12: “We work hard with our own hands”. And Ephesians 4:28: “He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need”. Come on fathers, teach your children to work with their own hand, before it’s too late and their beautiful hands are handcuffed for stealing! Living in this wonderful land, I see more and more that real fathers are becoming rare species. What fathers are doing today? Most of them either up to their ears in sexual sins, alcohol and drugs, wasting cash they could leave for their children, or they are working hard piling up cash to leave a decent inheritance that, according to Ecclesiastes 2:17-19, might be wasted by foolish son, who didn’t learn wisdom from his dad, but like today’s fatherless young generation that graduated from public school of socialism, expects his great daddy-president to take care of all his needs, to pay all his bills, wasting even inheritance of the future generations.

Let me take you now back to my father’s garden in Soviet Ukraine of 1970^th -1980^th. My grandpa was great gardener. He worked as a gardener at Soviet collective farm garden, or kolkhoz garden. My dad didn’t stay in kolkhoz, after graduation from technical college he moved to the city.  He got married in the city after he  came home from GULAG camps. He was working at locomotive depot of Soviet railroad until heavy wheel fell on him, making him unable to do heavy work for the most part of his life. But, thanks to God, a gardener was alive and well within him. After having 6 children he and mom finally found a piece of land on outskirts of our big city, where with the help of underground believer’s community they could build our house. And whatever soil was left in front, behind and by the sides of the house, our dad used all of it to plant various fruit trees berry-producing bushes and a variety of vegetables. Our house was literally surrounded by the garden. (I’ve tried to find some pictures and put with this transcript of the show. Unfortunately, most of my pictures are still in the Ukraine and I hope one day I’ll get there and then will have something to show you too). By watching and helping, we learned from our dad how to take care of different plants. In the summer, when it was to hot in the house because air conditioners didn’t exist at that time, we would sit there with our parents under the shadow of our fruit trees and dad would read to us his Bible, praying with us and teaching us how to live decent life, working hard and trusting God, not big government. Now, when I see my siblings living their lives here in America, most of them harvesting checks from their employers, I feel compelled by the gardener inside me to work hard in order to pass on to my kids what I’ve learned from my father and grandfather.  Whatever we are teaching our children in natural life, we can project it onto spiritual too. No one becomes a saint in one day, no one expects fruits today from something that was planted yesterday.  All it takes is a small, tiny seed of truth from God’s Word, placed in fertile child’s soul, or a seed from heirloomseedswap.com placed in the soil to make a difference that will flourish from generation to generation. It took whole heart of God full of love to make a beautiful garden for fist family He created. And by following in His footsteps, you will be able to pass to your children not only beautiful garden of your creativity and wisdom, but the most important you have – your love.

Trap

Today, which also means – for this week, I will talk about socialism traps. I will explain what it is, how these traps are set and how people are trapped in them. But, before you’ll hear that, I have my traditional virtual housekeeping and community organizing., but in non-traditional way. Our house, America, is in great danger. Our home as we know it is on a verge of destruction that is of much greater magnitude, than anything before. The powers of darkness are dividing this house, tearing it apart to make us defenseless in order to take away remains of the freedom we still enjoy. Today, like never before, this house needs you & me as faithful keepers. Let’s look at some housekeeping positions available for us:

Watchmen, who are watching and warning of approaching danger.

Defenders; they are fighting the enemies that attack from outside and from inside.

Fixers – they are working to restore this country after socialism disaster.

And Cleaners – this position is for those who are able to withstand terrible smell while cleaning fecal matters of socialism.

Today I’ll focus on Watchman position.

Here is the Word of God for Watchmen as written in the Bible:

Ezekiel 3:17. “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.” Ezekiel 33 speak on the same subject and in verse 3 it says: “When he (watchman) sees the sword come on the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people.” The sword means a grave danger and I’m sure God care for this land too, as well as for Israel. And especially at this time here He needs you and me as His watchmen, to warn the people. And today, as part of my housekeeping job, I’m blowing my trumpet, warning American people of Socialism traps danger.

Since being a little boy I’ve watched many time as traps were set to catch mice. I’ve seen many kinds of traps and what they did to their victims. Some kept mice alive, but most chocked them to death. Growing up I’ve learned myself to set the traps. But I also learned that bigger and more dangerous traps are being set against me and I have to learn to recognize and discern the threat and to learn how to avoid it and escape from it. Living in Soviet Union I’ve watched how then powerful socialist regime trapped millions of soviet people and people of other nations. Millions died without even knowing they were trapped. Today, God uses socialism survivors like me to speak out and warn our contemporaries about socialism and its traps.
Here’s what is important to remember about traps and how they work. Whether it is classic spring trap, or sticky trap, none of it will work without the bait. It can be a piece of cheese, chocolate, nuts or sausage, used to lure a victim mouse. Of course, unsuspecting mouse thinks that all these delicacies are there for his or her good. This is the common element for all socialism trap’s baits: it is a lie! Every bait is a BIG, FAT LIE!!! And here we come to our first and biggest socialism trap:

It’s all for the good of the people!

Who can be against the good for the people? Are you against people’s good? Then you are nut! You are evil! You are racist! You are the enemy of the people! Your place is in GULAG! You see how it works? Nobody wants to be labeled as the enemy of humanity, everyone wants to be n-i-i-i-c-e!!! And therefore everyone take the bait! And everyone gets trapped! How you can avoid of being trapped there? Well, if you believe that people’s Creator, God, is more important and His will, His good is superior! If you believe that He, who created man and woman knows better what is good for them. If you understand what I’m saying then you’ll understand why socialists hated, hate and will always hate those who believe in the living, eternal God, the Creator. I’m not saying that ONLY believers avoided being trapped, but anyone who used God-given Common Sense approach. Those who observed others being trapped, they’ve learned from other’s mistakes not to get in the same trouble. In Soviet Union they were other, than faith-based dissidents. Among them were political dissidents, some poets, writers, artists, scientists – in other words, people who had analytical mind. But believers had the most dangerous weapon – the Bible, the Word of Truth, to expose socialist lies. Here are other traps built based on the main one, and they all are lies!

Universal or public healthcare! Everyone’s health will be taken care of. All people will live happy, healthy lives, like one big happy family! Big, big lie!!! Getting into this trap, biting this bait will cost you freedom and eventually – your life. Remember, that’s what traps are made for! I’m glad that many Americans, who represent the nation under God, understand it, because they can see the truth through God’s Word.

Next socialist trap, which of course is a lie, is:

It is all for the good of our children, which also includes universal, or public education.

While God says it is parent’s responsibility to raise their children, as it is written in Ephesians 6:4, “…in the discipline and instruction of the Lord”, the socialists promise to take the burden of such responsibility from your shoulders and educate your children for free. Of course, it is a lie. Nothing is free; you will be taxed to death and the rest of the debt will be placed upon your children. Still believe in socialism freebies? Well, you and your children will have to pay for it! It’s like credit card, which is another trap, another lie. When you use that piece of plastic, it looks like you are getting the stuff for free! Nobody digs his hand in your pocket; cash in your wallet and in your account still has the same balance. And of course when your bill arrives, you can pay only minimum, like $ 10 a month. You feel good, surrounded by your stuff, until debt collectors start calling you. When your house is taken from you, then you begin to understand, that you had been trapped. Returning to children’s trap, when your parental rights are taken away from you, and you, who played a role of religious, godly man, or woman, while entrusting your kids to public education, you see your children bound with idolatry, you hear your kids mocking God and the Bible – then you begin to understand you’ve been trapped for many years. Unfortunately, often it’s too late! Like in the case of Benjamin Emmanuel, the father of current presidential Chief-Of-Staff, who himself fought for Israel’s freedom, but failed properly instruct and discipline his son, who then became prima ballerina of American left political corruption and now, working for anti-Israel President, dishonors his father’s struggle, which is especially obvious after a humiliating, disgraceful reception of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in the White House.

Another socialism trap, based on “for the good of the people” mantra is Environmental Protection.

Do they really want all people to live on healthy, green planet, as they claim? Another lie! They are those who are pushing Cap & Trade legislation that will go deeper in you pockets and wallets. But not only that. All of it is supposedly for lowering carbon dioxide in the air, which means, destroying Green Plant, because plants need CO2 for photosynthesis in order to grow. Socialists need another crisis to push forward their political agenda. That’s why they don’t care about Gulf Coast ecological disaster. What do you think White House residents were doing for nine days after oil rig explosion, why nothing was heard from them? Well, these bad Saul Alinsky socialism students were caught off guard and could not decide fast enough how to use this crisis for the advancement of socialism.

The last trap I will discuss today is:

The promise of perfection for corrupt man.

New Testament in 2nd Peter 2:19 says, that they promise liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for by whom a man is overcome, by the same is he also brought into bondage. In another words, applying it to current situation, the promise of perfection is just another lie, another bait to make you a slave of what they themselves are: scam bags, corrupted sick socialists, rotten from inside. This ungodly socialist government wants to beat all previous record of lie and corruption. They are slaves of corruption. Do you think it is right way to Utopian future, to Communism? Communism, which is their promise of perfection on earth, is like the Kingdom of God… without God. It’s like running on a treadmill in front of TV screen, trying to get to the grocery store 10 miles away from your home. It was, it is and it always be their big lie, the lure into destruction for those who rejected the Way of the Lord, which is presented to us in Matthew 5:48: “…Be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Please, choose now: to follow God, as your Way, Truth and Life, or being enslaved by brain-damaging lie, spewed on you by godless and shameless socialist media. Make the choice that will be the best for you, your children and this beautiful country – the United States of America!
