Living in the country where even poor citizens or residents have cars and computers, it may be difficult to imagine downgrading our lives. Those who are willingly rejecting all comforts and place themselves in a survival mode are rare species. Average American would be terrified if he or she will have their doctor’s appointment cancelled indefinitely, or will have to wait for hours in line at gas station to get their fuel tanks filled, or upon arrival to Wal-Mart seeing empty shelves. And what about watching your pet dying because there are not enough doctors to care for humans and Veterinary Clinics are shut down. I recently watched one Russian movie and the story there was this. One young successful Russian businessman invited two friends to his birthday. But they decided to surprise him and added to his drink some sleeping mixture. Prior to that they hired actors and locals in a remote Russian village to play 19^th century life. While our hero slept, his friends transferred him to that village. When he woke up, he found himself in 19^th century village, as ancient landlord, no computer, no electricity, surrounded by strange people who prompted him to believe that they are his bondmen. He first thought he lost his mind, but then began to believe it was true and adapt to his new life. After that film I thought, how Americans would be able to adapt to a new life under socialism. I mean much simpler life. Remember, it is Socialism Survival Podcast and I have to provide you with some survival ideas, isn’t that right? Yes, it is! Here are some thoughts of socialism survivor. As I mentioned pets in the beginning, let me tell you more. Having dogs and cats at home as pets – it is a bourgeois relic of the past and contrary to the spirit of socialism. Under socialism, if you have dog as a guard and cat to catch mice, you’re OK, but having them as pets means you have some resources to waste on dog and cat food which means a target on your back for confiscation, because you have too much. In Soviet Union we all worked just to have enough to survive. Our animals also worked for their food. Dog barked at strangers and had his bone, cat worked by catching mice and eating it. In my childhood and adolescence we had several dogs; they all lived outside, close to the gates and signaled when we had invited or uninvited visitors. That was especially important when we had secret prayer meetings in our house. No intruder, whether spying neighbor or policemen, would be happy to be discovered and even bitten by a dog. Let’s take something else, food, for example. Here we are using butter, olive, canola and even grape seed oil for cooking, baking and frying. We cannot imagine our salads without many different dressings. Can you imagine we had one thing for all of that? Yes, it was unrefined sunflower oil. Yes, it has specific, as for me – very pleasant taste. We cooked with it and used it as a dressing for our salads. We still favor is in our salads. We would use cow milk butter as a spread on our bread; it was too precious to waste it for cooking. Here’s another example. We had our garden with fruits and vegetables. To preserve our harvest for winter time, we had 1, 2 or 3 liter glass jars that were reused over and over. But not only that! Jars usually were sealed with disposable lids. But, people are so creative! Someone invented lid openers that didn’t damage the lid and hand-operated tool to make these lids reusable for canning. We live here in a time when many things aren’t made to last long, most our everyday items made in China, although cheap per piece, but if we have to buy them every year we’ll pay more than if we just had one good quality item. Everyone who is concerned about his and his family survival should think seriously about having more of easy to use and to repair items that will last long. I won’t talk this time a lot about computers and other electronic stuff. Living in the USSR we didn’t have personal computers at that time, but you probably know that in socialist countries like China or North Korea those who have computers are limited in their access to the worldwide web, which means their PCs full potential cannot be used. I think, if we’ll have to survive another socialist regime, our use of electronics might have limits too. Nevertheless, it is good to know how to fix electronics and it can be wise not to throw away some old things, like radios, players, etc. Of course, if you have where to store it.

Since my childhood I’ve learned a lot of skills that are still helpful in my today’s life. And I’m teaching my kids some of them. Like, for example, one of my hammer’s head broke off handle. I had my kids next to me while I was fixing it, allowing them to help me a little bit. And they’ve got good survival lesson.

In Soviet Union, our main local transportation was bicycles, very simple, without sophisticated multi-speed gears. As a teenager, I knew how to fix them. Also all wheels had inner tubes and whenever it was punctured with a nail or any other sharp object I knew how to cover the hole with a patch. We used bicycles to go to a grocery store, to go fishing, for traveling to work, or prayer meetings, or just visiting friends. All our bicycles had luggage racks on the back. Some had it in a front too. Often one bicycle could be used for traveling of up to 4 people. Imagine a family of four: dad is the one who controls the bicycle; mom is sitting in front of him on a frame and kids occupy both luggage racks. If front rack was absent someone like a child would even sit on a handlebar. Living simple lives people tend to develop their talents, skills, intuition to find a solution. And these solutions are more practical, there is nothing superfluous, because in a survival life nothing should be wasted: resources, materials, energy, time all must be used with a maximum benefit. When I was a child, I and one or two of my brothers would go out with string bags in our pockets. We would collect unbroken glass bottles from beer, soda or wine, bring it to the glass collection station and got paid between 10-12 kopeks for a piece. Usually we would spend money to buy a treat, like ice cream, but some of us were able to collect enough money to buy new clothes or shoes. When there were large families, like ours with 7 boys, only older one would get new clothes and then when he grew out of it, he would pass it down the line to youngest, or until completely worn-out. We couldn’t argue with our parents for their practical approach to saving money, but we could find a solution, like collecting bottles, or digging the neighbor’s garden. Surviving soviet socialism we learned the importance of being friendly with our neighbors and helpful to them. We had some older neighbors, who didn’t have any children, or whose children already grew up and left and they sometimes would use their extra cash to give us treats and other stuff. During some special times, like Orthodox Christmas on January 7^th, or Old New Year on January 14^th, those of us who were bold enough would go around neighborhood, sing holiday songs and collect bags of candies, or fill our pockets with it. There was another venture that may sound for you almost like a confession. Maybe it is! It was also dangerous. Once a year, next Sunday after Orthodox Passover, sort of Russian Easter, was so called Memorial Sunday when people would go to the cemeteries for the remembrance of their loved ones. They would clean and fix the graves and then share the food right there on a gravesite. Before leaving, they would put some of the best things, like colored eggs, chocolate candies and other sweets on a gravestone. As soon as their left, hungry kids who were watching and waiting would run as fast as they could to get these treats. If you saw that huge Ukrainian cemetery in my hometown where also my mom is buried, you would understand that it was dangerous. It was like a forest with thousands of graves. Someone could hide behind a tree and then attack you. But is there any kind of a survival that is not dangerous? At the same time as we, kids, would hunt for candies there were many homeless adults who would also target the same graves in a search of alcohol beverages that also often were left. Very soon they were so drunk and crazy that could injure or even kill some of us. Therefore for us it was very important to stay in packs in order to survive these cemetery hunts. As for the reaction of cemetery visitors, it was different. Some were judgmental and wanted us to leave; others would invite us to the table and give us the treats instead of leaving it on a tombstone. Does it all sounds crazy to you? Well, well, even though we were still children and depended a lot on the support of our parents, we also were self-dependent a lot, because everyone’s survival is his own business, including children. I’m not talking about infants, but about children who can walk, talk and understand. Yes, we were then as young as 6 and as old as 12, still the age longing for love and attention, but on the other hand we had to act sometimes as gamins, as gang of homeless in order to survive. We knew that sustaining our simple lives was not very simple job. I could go on and on, but I’ll leave other stories for another podcasts. Simply saying, for survival it is important to find right balance between wants and needs. More often you would have to sacrifice your wants for the needs of your own and others. Wasn’t that exactly what Yeshua did? He wanted to stay close to His Father, but instead He came down to the Earth because He saw the need for our survival. He was born in a manger and lived a simple life teaching others that true riches are found inside us. If I didn’t sound too convincing would you listen to Him, please?!

“From Reformation to Desolation…” What is it all about? First, there was a period in history called “Reformation” associated with Martin Luther. Second, through the history, including today, we are told that there is a need to reform this and that and of course millions of dollars and other currencies are spent to brainwash and convince people that without these reforms life on planet Earth will cease to exist. Images of dying polar bears or starving to death Africans are shown to prove that urgency is needed to prevent coming global catastrophe. Third, there is a spiritual side of Reformation that I’d like to talk about in this show too. First, I’ll just say that when there is a disagreement between reformation promises and spiritual condition of those who promised – desolation is inevitable result. The history proves just that. Let’s begin with Great Reformer Martin Luther. Las podcast in my interview you could hear as I said that Luther is not my hero, not anymore. It doesn’t mean that he didn’t do anything good. It doesn’t mean I want to attack Lutheran Church named after Him. It means that I’ve decided to be honest about even most painful truth. The truth I know and willing to speak about. And something is just my opinion. Like, in my opinion, it is not right to name a church or denomination after the name of the founder, even after such a great name as Martin Luther. I even don’t think it was a great idea for the father of MLK to name his son after Martin Luther! Well, I don’t know if they, both father and son, knew everything about Martin Luther. Maybe they knew but just ignored. I believe that in the beginning he, Martin Luther, was brave man who dared to challenge corrupt Vatican authority. During the first period of his ministry, 1513-1523, Luther often condemned the persecution of the Jews and recommended a more tolerant policy toward them, based on the spirit of true brotherhood. In 1523, he wrote a pamphlet, “That Christ Was Born A Jew,” in which he argued that the Jews, who were from the same stock as the founder of Christianity, had been right in refusing to accept the “papal paganism” presented to them as Christianity. He added, “If I had been a Jew and had seen such fools and blockheads teach the Christian faith, I should rather have turned into a pig than become a Christian.”

However, when they did not accept his version of Christianity and refused to convert, Luther became increasingly hostile to the Jewish people. By the 1530s in his Table Talk Series, he referred to them as “the stiffed-necked Jews, iron-hearted and stubborn as the devil.”

And, finally, in 1542-1543 he printed two pamphlets, “On the Jews and Their Lies,” and “On The Shem Hamephoras” (which means – The Ineffable Name). These two pamphlets contain some of the most abhorrent and vile language ever written against the Jewish people. Five hundred years later, Adolph Hitler found many of his ideas and justifications for his treatment of the Jewish people and the Holocaust in these writings. After all, if the father of the Lutheran Church, who was a German, stated such things, who was there to argue with him? Even godless German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, who was born in the family of Lutheran pastor, could not boast of such influence on Hitler as Luther himself. This is the perfect example of Reformation that led to Desolation, expressed in extermination of 6 million Jews and many millions of people from other nationalities. Vladimir Lenin’s experiments of Marxism in Russia were based on promises of socialist reformation to make better life for ordinary people, but ended in total desolation, devaluation of the human life. Lenin’s view of existing world can be found in Soviet version of the Internationale song.

We will destroy this world of oppression

Down to the foundations, and then

We will build our new world.

He who was nothing will become everything!

Continuing to describe business owners, the song say about them as parasites and robbers:

You contemptible in your wealth,

Kings of coal and steel!

You, parasites, have erected your thrones on our backs.

Plants, factories and palaces -

All by our work is created.

It’s time! We demand the return of the things that by the robbery were taken.

And the song in the end shows again what these reforms will accomplish:

Only we, the workers of the worldwide

Great army of labor,

Have the right to own the land,

But the parasites – never!

And if the great thunder rolls

Over the pack of dogs and executioners,

For us, the sun will forever

Shine on with its fiery rays.

You see the promise to give better future for all poor people sounded like something good. But the evil spiritual foundation of socialistic reforms is clearly seen in the words of a song I just quoted. Using simple kindergarten math, even my kid knows, that nothing cannot become everything. Zero plus zero plus zero plus zero plus zero will still be zero. Zero times zero times zero also will be zero. Let’s turn to God’s Word. Bible says that any tree can be recognized by its fruits. It also says that the faithful end will put the crown of life upon our heads. Let’s say, just for an example, I, your host Alex, did a lot of good things in my life: helped poor, fed the hungry, led hundreds to repentance before the Lord, which I actually did, but… at the end of my life murdered someone (which, of course I didn’t do, just an example). What will decide my eternal fate: the beginning or the end? Martin Luther surely had some great achievements in the beginning of his reformation ministry, but his latest anti-Semitic works crossed out all good what he did. Current political reformers all are trying to convince us of their good intentions for the reforms they are moving forward. But, like in the past, their reformation will lead to desolation. While they succeeded to fool great number of people with skillful propaganda, I’m still keeping my hopes that there will be enough people who, facing sweet promises of modern socialists, will recognize coming desolation and resist with every means possible. One last warning, before I turn off my microphone is against the cult of personality, when the group of people or even the whole nation literally worships their founder or person in charge. Most reformations that led to desolations are associated with the personality cult, when person’s name is glorified equally or even higher, than God’s, making that person unable to reflect the glory that he receives further to God, the One Who truly deserves it, the One, Who not only can bring true reforms to the land, but Who can also transform desolate human soul into a fragrant, blooming garden.

Let me begin with the sparrow story. My dad shared it with me. He told that as a young boy, he survived two famines: One was in 1930^th and another – in 1940^th, after WWII. They had barn attached to the house and although any living creature that lived in that barn was already eaten, still it attracted other creatures that were in search of food because everyone was hungry in that days. It could be other human beings called thieves, wild beasts, or birds. They risked their lives, because there was no other choice and they often were trapped by those, whose property they trespassed. While thief could be eaten too, as cannibalism had place during long periods of mass starvation, at least it didn’t happen in my family. But something like sparrow stew was my dad’s favorite dish at that time. And he was willing to wait patiently behind the barn door for hours. Because, as soon as a flock of sparrows would fly in the barn, my dad would immediately shut the door and begin catching birds one by one, twisting off their heads and throwing in a bucket until all are there. After that he would help his mom, my grandma Barbara, to deplume [deeploom] birds and make a stew for all family. At the time when many people were eating weeds, even baked bread out of weed powder, the sparrow stew was real feast!

Another big thing in our food supplies was fishing. As much as I remember myself, I loved fishing. Whether in survival mode, or just make healthy addition to your table, good fish from the nature is always the best. Of course, here you need to pay for the fishing and hunting license. There, in Soviet Union it was free. I didn’t have chance for hunting back there, but I know many people who knew various methods of hunting and catching wild animals, they survived thanks to that. Today I’ll focus further more on whatever grows from the soil.

OK, next, I’d like to share some other products of the nature that were used either by my ancestors, or by me, or by people I knew. One of such natural product I never tried but it was used by many during famines is wild groundnut. Yes, it’s sort of peanut, but growing wild, never being domesticated or cultivated. In survival situation people used it to eat fresh or dry, to cook with it – I think sparrow stew with groundnut would taste great!

Next is cherry-plum – one of my favorite. Can be eaten fresh, but I like it better if preserved as jam or marmalade. Near the village where my grand-parents lived there were many cherry-plum trees growing in the wild. During harvest season we would go there, climb the trees with bags over our shoulders, going down just to fill our buckets with collected berries. Each of us would carry back to grandpa’s house two full buckets for couple miles. While we ran in the morning to the trees, the way back didn’t look that easy for us! But, the berries were free; we just had to work to collect them. And our work definitely paid off in the winter when we enjoyed our favorite hot tea with cherry-plum jam.

As I mentioned drinking tea, there was another gift of nature that we also collected from thorny bushes near grandparent’s village. I’m talking about another favorite of mine that was used to make very tasty and healthy tea. It is Dog-rose. When its fruits or hips turned red we would collect and then dry it. It is known antioxidant with high level of vitamin C, therefore it wasn’t just a delicious tea, but served to preserve us from flu and cold, fall through spring. Always, whenever cold weather was around, we had large tea pot full of dog-rose tea sitting on the side of brick oven, waiting for its consumers.

Another tea tree we loved in the nature was linden. We collected flowers and young leaves, dried them and used for making teas as well. Linden Tea has many benefits for human health, it is recommended especially for someone with bronchitis, cold, cough, fever and stomach problems. It also has calming effect which makes it good evening tea. It is good to mention here that the sweetly scented flowers attract lots of bees, and Linden Honey is considered to be one the most aromatic and valuable in the world. And it leads me to another product that was often collected by Soviet people.

I’m talking about wild honey. Wherever wild bees are found, people would attempt to collect the best honey produce. Honey is another product that I’m familiar a lot with, because my grandfather was beekeeper. I’m very upset with the stupidity that happens here in America, talking about honey being heated before it is sold. During heating process everything valuable is destroyed and what American people are left with is just another useless sweetener. Since being a little boy I’m used to eat only raw honey, that is real honey for me, I do not accept any kind of processed honey. Grandpa would cut and give us honey comb pieces. What a treasure hidden in that precious, sweet golden drops. But, no matter how good was honey from domesticated bees, wild bees always produced best quality product. And it is free, if you know how to get it. Other bee products can be found in the wild nature as well, such as bee wax, bee pollen, propolis, royal jelly, etc. I could talk for few hours just about health benefits of bee products, therefore will leave it for another podcast or to your own abilities to research.

Another favorite I had since my childhood was wild apricot. We had home in our garden two huge trees of intercalated or cultured apricots, if you understand what I’m talking about. Shortly, process of intercalation is done by grafting cultured apricot branch into a wild apricot tree. Cultured apricots usually larger and sweeter, than wild, but do you think 2 trees were enough for family with 9 children who couldn’t wait till fruits will ripen and in spite of the fear of being punished plucked and ate half-green apricots. Add to that our mom who wanted some apricots saved for her culinary purposes and preserves. Only solution in this situation was for us to go to woodland belt area where we knew the wild apricot trees were growing. There we had all apricots we wanted. By the way, another difference between intercalated and wild apricots is that cultured apricot has sweet nut, while wild has bitter one. So far, all apricots I’ve tasted here in America had bitter nut. Does it mean that Americans aren’t familiar with apricot intercalation or grafting? If you know the answer, email it to me.

Next, I’d like to mention Wild cherry. Fruits are dark red, sweet and sour. We also had cultured red cherry at home, but wild cherry is good replacement, especially for making preserves. We would also dry cherries for future use in compotes, usually in a mix with dried apricots, apples, plums and pears. Yes, we used to dry all these fruits for making hot compotes in the winter and cool compote drinks the following summer.

Wild apples were available as well. In many forests of Ukraine and Russia grows so-called “paradise apple”, usually a large tree with a lot of cherry-size apples. Although it is sour and astringent it can be eaten raw in survival situation, but preferred use is in preserves.

Wild strawberries are another natural food, usually found in forests. They are very small in size, but their taste is far better than what you can buy in supermarket or farmer’s markets here. Soviet people would often pick up wild strawberries and sell it in the farmer’s markets quickly and for good price. One time I was with my friend in Riga, Latvian capital. We didn’t have money to buy food, but we had brilliant idea! We got out of the city, found wild strawberries in the forest. First, we filled our bellies, then picked few more cups of it, went to the market and made some money.

Same as wild strawberry, another berry called Bilberry was and is very popular among former Soviet people. The plant is of blueberry family, but berries are smaller, darker and better tasting. I found a lot of bilberries sold in Ural mountain cities of Russia, where I traveled few times. Siberia, Far East are other parts of Russia where you can also find a lot of bilberries. They are great for human health and can be eaten fresh, dried, used in jams, smoothies, bakery, ice-creams, etc. I’ve heard that blackberry also grows a lot in Russia, just didn’t see it there with my own eyes.

Forests of Siberia are also abundant with Cedar Pine nuts. While pine nuts mostly are eaten after being dried, I remember my friend whom I visited in Siberia treated me with boiled pinecones. When I ate boiled peanuts for the first time with my friends in Georgia, it remotely reminded me eating boiled pine nuts.

Hazelnuts grow almost everywhere in former Soviet Union. It was and is very popular there. I personally picked some of them. They are good, nutritious food and can be a great, free addition to survivors.

I almost forgot mushrooms! They are great, also growing almost everywhere in my former motherland. Mushrooms can be cooked or fried fresh; they can be dried and powdered for future use, some species of mushrooms are best when marinated.

What about natural drinks, besides plain water, teas that I mentioned, or juices from the fruits and berries? Here comes famous Russian Birch sap drink. I am familiar with the process of birch sap extraction, but better familiar with drinking it. I missed it a lot and during my trip to Ukraine last year I was happy to buy and drink some of it.

This is not everything, my friends; the list could go on and on. Whatever I described is only a small part of edible wild plants or fruits that were and are available in the nature, free of charge. Well, of course socialists wish they could control that too, I don’t think they will succeed though. I even didn’t talk today about medicinal plants, herbs, or something like sea-buckthorn, highly beneficial for human body health. What I really wanted to achieve with this podcast is to give you a boost for your own research and study. Knowledge is very important in having positive results of interaction with nature. There are some poisonous berries that look close to bilberries; there are many poisonous mushrooms. We need to know what is around us here, in America, or in whatever country you are in, if you are international listener. The knowledge of what you can eat and drink in the nature around you may save you and your family. Imagine – US dollar plunged down, food markets are empty, and farms are confiscated by evil socialist regime. You think it is fantasy of impossible? Why? If it happened many times in Soviet Union and other socialist countries, then it is possible anywhere. Many soviet people who would otherwise die, they survived thanks to the knowledge they had about food from the nature that surrounded them. People who ran away from GULAG camps mostly survived thanks to the same knowledge. Some of them even decided not to return to civilization, because they understood that it is much better and easier to live with the nature, than with bunch of crazy socialists around them.

My friends, understanding the blessings of the nature around you can make you happily independent. Ignorance will make you forever dependent on whatever regime is opening supermarket doors in front of you. Thanks to God, while the voice of common sense can be heard, we still have time to learn and make right decision.

“Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.” The Book of Revelation 13:11-18.

When I was a young boy, reading this passage from the Bible, although I believed, it still sounded more like a science fiction for me and my contemporaries. And in a blink of an eye suddenly it’s not a fantasy anymore; getting microchip implanted with a syringe is a reality that cannot be reasonably denied anymore. Some so-called “good people” want to take care of you and your needs, but they can do it only if they know everything about you. They want to know who you are, where you are, with whom you are, whether you walk, seat, stand or sleep. My goal this time is to help you to know who you are before someone else will know it, while at the same time taking away from you that very opportunity. Because if they will know you the way they want to know, your knowledge of yourself will not matter anymore. While they, the agents of the beast, are still playing fishing game with you, it’s not too far away before they’ll start the real hunt. That’s like testing my fishing gear at home, before going to the lake; I will check fist, if my fishing pole will survive holding few pounds of dead weight to make sure that I won’t waste my time later. Just few out of many examples of such fishing are the last presidential elections in America, Congress elections, healthcare bill and repeal of “don’t ask – don’t tell”. In all these instances it was tested how low American people will bend. In the meantime, agents of the beast are getting more and more active, whether they are politicians, educators or even famous pastors of mega-churches. Oh, yes, they are there too! Don’t roll up your eyes, as if you are surprised, my friend! We need to nurture our relationship with God and His Word; we need to be filled with His Spirit and wisdom in order to recognize wolves in a sheep’s skin. I’m talking to you about it as the one who has his own bitter experience of discovering that some pastors who were my good friends willingly joined New World Order camp. No, they didn’t quit their ministries, but by compromising against God’s Word and in favor of fame, money and power, they are not better now, than any other shameless religious charlatan. They may sound a little bit different, than let’s say, politician, or professor. They will tell you, it’s all about God’s Kingdom and the New Order He is establishing on our disorderly planet and in your disorderly life… But they all, absolutely all, pretend to know better, than you who you ought to be and they want to transform you into that creature preferably way before you will know who you are. Because, if you know… If you really know who you are, then you don’t need them anymore. I’m not saying you needed them in first place; they just decided that without them you are simply lost and will never go to heaven, or never will have a good karma, or simply never will become a better person, if you will not receive their enlightenment on your way to self-realization. People tend to plan for the future. This ability distinguishes us from animals. Whether you planned to become a janitor or engineer, it is all up to you. It is not anyone else’s business! If what you planned makes you happy and doesn’t harm anyone else, so be it! Whether you decided to be a believer, or atheist – that’s your choice too! Yes, God says, there are consequences that will come into your life if you’ll make wrong choice, but even He never forces us to make any choice against our free will that He, God, created us with. Apparently, socialists who disagree with God’s approach do not see anything wrong in forcing you to submit to their will or, in case of your refusal – deny you the right to exist. They, who based on their atheistic beliefs, reject the existence of God, care even less about your existence, let alone your plans for your own life. In fact, the word “own” very, very irritates them… only good use of that word in their vocabulary is when you allow their ideology to own you.

I’d like to stick in here the Word from 1^st Corinthians 7:23: “You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.”

It resounds with what I have as my subject for this podcast. Know who you are. If you know who you are, you will not be caught in a voluntary slavery tendency common to humans. God paid great price to make you free. But there are many tradesmen on the market of humanity who are offering their price for your life and millions are accepting their offer. If you know who you are you will also know that there will never be a price equal to your life’s worth because there isn’t and never will be anything more precious, than knowing who you are and owning your own life. There is a saying that those who possess the knowledge – possess the world. Well, what is good in possessing the world but harming your own soul? Sounds familiar? That’s from the Bible too. I refer to it because I hear the question falling from your lips, asking: “And how can I know who I am?” and that’s why I refer to the Bible. For me Bible isn’t just a religious book, but life guide, the quality probe for my life. To know the quality of your life you need to mix or dissolve your life with God’s Word. It is similar to a soil test. Everyone who is in gardening knows that it is important to know your soil pH balance, whether it is acidic or alkaline and its nutrient content. For this gardener takes his soil and mixes it with a special solution and then checks the color of the mixture to match it with the chart that has corresponding colors and numbers. Remember, if you mix your life with God’s Word, you’ll find out who you are. If you’ll mix your life with socialist ideology, it will consume you and eliminate your individuality for the sake of the World’s utopian commune. There are many other tests that can be applied to your life. You’ll encounter them if you decided to be honest with yourself and others and are heading in the right direction. I can’t promise that it will be easy, but the worth of it will always be greater, than any effort that you are applying. The worth of it is the rightful ownership in our own lives, owning ourselves by knowing who we are.

Now, let’s review some events of the year 2010. I say “some” because I have no time nor desire to talk about everything that happened. So, here are some events in the chronological order:

January 12 – A 7.0-magnitude earthquake occurs in Haiti, devastating the nation’s capital, Port-au-Prince. With a confirmed death toll over 230,000 it is one of the deadliest on record.

January 19 ­­– Republican Scott Brown elected as the Senator from Massachusetts.

February 27 – An 8.8-magnitude earthquake occurs in Chile, triggering a tsunami over the Pacific and killing 497. The earthquake is one of the largest in recorded history.

March 23 – Health Care Bill signed into Law, while being opposed by more than 2/3 of American people.

April 10 – The President of Poland, Lech Kaczyński, is killed when his airplane crashes in western Russia.

April 20 – The Deepwater Horizon oil platform explodes in the Gulf of Mexico, killing eleven workers. The resulting oil spill, one of the largest in history, spreads for several months, damaging the waters and the United States coastline.

April 27 and further – Greece sovereign credit rating jumps down, creating widespread economic crisis in Europe.

May 31 – Israeli Navy forces raid and capture a flotilla of ships attempting to break the Gaza blockade. Nine pro-Palestinian activists are killed in violent clashes; 7 commandos got hurt, 2 seriously when activists tried to lynch the Israel Navy commandos who boarded their Turkish-flagged boat.

June 9 – Ethnic riots in Kyrgyzstan between Kyrgyz and Uzbeks results in the deaths of hundreds.

July 25 – Wikileaks, an online publisher of anonymous, covert, and classified material, created by Australian hacker Julian Assange, leaks to the public over 90,000 internal reports about the United States-led involvement in the War in Afghanistan from 2004 to 2010.

November 2 – U.S Midterm Elections; Republicans win control of the House of Representatives with the largest turnover of seats since 1948 and the largest gain for Republicans since 1894. The Republican Party wins six gubernatorial elections including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Tennessee, Kansas, Oklahoma and Wyoming. However, Democrats retain control of the United States Senate.

December 22 – President signs the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell bill, after US Senate voted 65 to 31, including following 8 Republicans who voted for repeal:

Susan Collins, Maine

Olympia Snowe, Maine

Mark Kirk, Illinois

Lisa Murkowski, Alaska

John Ensign, Nevada

Richard Burr, North Carolina

To the list that I just finished, I can add few more airplane crashes, another earthquake and tsunami, Chilean miners trapped alive 700 meters underground for 69 days, North Korean attack on South Korean Island and further Wikileaks releases of the US secrets.

There were times during last year to rejoice and to cry. As you can see from my list, most of remarkable events were negative, sad and tragic. Official unemployment rate still stand near 10 %s, the destruction of godly foundation of this country continues by the socialists in power. American Republicans, conservatives are being used and fooled. In my dated list of events I mention twice Republican Senator Scott Brown from Massachusetts. I remember well how many of my Facebook friends were cheering his victory, how many of them replaced their pictures with Scott Brown poster in support of him and some even suggested electing him as next President of the United States. There is one Ukrainian saying: Don’t say “hop” until you jumped over” which leads me to use a Biblical text that says “you will know them by their fruits”. And Senator Brown is a living example of what that means. Now you know him by his fruits. For me, as I believe is also for many of you, his vote along with Democrats is not just expressing attitude towards gays and lesbians, it is much larger betrayal of American people who supported him. It is betrayal by joining socialist camp in such crucial time for America. Or, was there any betrayal at all? Maybe American people betrayed themselves, by voluntarily being blinded and therefore supporting someone who was positioned for election win by invisible elite.

Overall, the actions of politicians and people’s ignorance were depressively impressing. Like the oil spill that threatened our beautiful Florida for many months in a row. I thank God for my wife, kids and our local congregation of believers who were with me all year long. The top of my life last year, besides God and family was trip to Ukraine. Although not everything I saw there was really inspiring, but such thing like meeting old friends and relatives, visiting familiar places, helping orphans and disabled are unforgettable. I regret the time flew so fast that I didn’t have enough of it to enjoy meeting all people and visiting all places I wanted to. Plus, the fact of having both, body scans and tapping weren’t pleasant either. Still, comparing to all what is happening here, especially in deep conspiracy, I can say, the Ukrainian trip was happy withdrawal. It refreshed and inspired me for many new ideas, thoughts and actions. Some of it will be made known to you, my listeners, but some will be kept far away from this show and only God and few close people will ever know about it.

As for my plans with this show, I have some topics that I didn’t touch yet and even some interesting guests I plan to invite for interviews. It won’t necessarily be some famous personalities; maybe someone of you, my listeners, is the one who I’d like to talk to… Also I’d like to have here again some of my previous guests for the follow-up on things that we’ve discussed before. As soon as I will have enough questions and comments from you, my audience, I will make special show based on my listener’s feedback. Therefore, please send to me your questions and comments either by email, or using Facebook, it really doesn’t matter from where to copy and paste it. And as long as the Lord will provide, I’d like to keep sharing my experience from the past and insight in the future with those who are willing to listen. And I assure you not everything will sound tragic and heavy. One more thing, before I close: I’d like to say about my winter garden. In November I planted some veggies and salads in raised beds next to our house. While we’re limited with gardening space, I was able to plant and grow peas, beets, cabbage, spinach, broccoli, lettuce, kale, Brussels sprouts and other salad greens. Soon I will plant sweet potatoes and start tomatoes, cucumbers and other spring crops. I really love doing gardening, it is another part of my life that keeps me busy, makes me happy and I invite you to check out my photos on Facebook, I will show you there my garden’s progress, posting some new pictures of it for you to enjoy.

That’s what is called life…

These are the words of a song from “Sannikov Land” – Soviet fantastic film, shot in 1972-1973 by Mosfilm. This song is included in a golden collection of Soviet era songs. There was something to think about, definitely about life, when we lived in Soviet Union, because life, that short moment between past and future could be shortened even more. But what is really surprising in this song is the disappointment in Soviet reality that passed communist censorship. Think again – if everything is illusory in this stormy world for people who live in happiest socialist country called Soviet Union, then happy socialist paradise is nothing more than illusion, mirage, ghost… Well, let me reveal the secret why this film and this song were allowed: film depicts events that happened before Great October Socialist revolution and it is fantasy film. Of course those of us who knew true face of soviet ideology knew that communism, same as Sannikov Land, was a fantasy. Here some facts about this film:

-          Initially there were plans to draw for participation in a film popular among people poet, singer and actor Vladimir Vysotsky, who was very inspired by the story and wrote three songs for the film: “White Silence”, “Ballad of an abandoned ship” and “Fussy Horses” However, due to the fact that songs of Vysotsky were played on hostile to Soviet regime radio “German Wave” Arts Council of Mosfilm studio did not approve him for a role in the film. But, some of the actors who were approved, many times wanted to leave the shooting of the film, because its script was changed too much to appease political correctness of socialists.

That is about the film and its song that I decided to use in the opening of this podcast. Yes, it reflects popular mood among soviet people, meaninglessness of life that was nothing more than “…a moment between past and future”. Being persecuted believers, we knew that our lives were more than that, that we have eternal life with God. But Soviet people were robbed of their faith in God, their chance to discover God’s truth was stolen from them and the aspirations for eternity were replaced with dead religion of communism.

It reminded me the story of a little goat. We lived in a city area with many gypsies around. Some of our friends knew that our parents had many children and gave us a little goat in hopes that it will grow and one day provide our family with milk. Every day we had our goat tied to the ground, eating grass. One day when nobody watched goat for few minutes, our little goat disappeared. We were asking all neighbors and finally found someone who saw an old gypsy taking our goat to his home. We wanted our goat back, but it was too late – when we came to gypsy house with a witness, they were eating goat Bar-B-Q and to make peace offered us a piece of carpet instead. Our dad didn’t have a choice, but to take that carpet, because he wouldn’t dare to fight with gypsies who were like big mafia in that area of the city. For many years that carpet hanged on the wall in our house as a symbol of socialist reality when living milk of God’s Word was replaced with a magic carpet of socialism that had dead promise of delivering people to the illusory wonderland of communism.

I don’t know about you, but for me all three – past, present and future combined – is life. I’m talking here about human life that has free will and was created for eternity. In the moment that is called “now” and is between past and future, you are either predator or prey, often – both at the same time, unless you are on creator’s team that is above both – hunters and ducks.

Socialists see your life as something valuable only if it serves their purpose or has potential that can be used for their machine. Everyone who is not willing or even resists taking part in achieving their goals is the obstacle that either has to be leveled or removed. Every socialist regime I know, whether Stalin’s, or Mao’s, or any other, practiced physical elimination of human lives that were found as “zero’s” or “negative” on their scale. Unlike for you and for God when life has great value in itself, your life for socialists is ever meaningless, if it was, is or ever will be outside of their influence. For that reason many high ranking officers, scientists, writers, business owners, professors, doctors and other respected people of Czarist Russia were expelled or eliminated after Socialist Revolution in 1917. We can draw parallel with our times and say that for the same reasons a woman in England aborted her baby because she was brain damaged by socialist global warming propaganda and believed that newborn babies are harmful for planet Earth’s future. As an active anti-socialist, it makes me happy when opposite happens and healthy, beautiful babies are born into this word. Using this opportunity, I’d like to congratulate my listener and friend Bob from Washington State and his wife with recent addition to their big family, beautiful twin girls. Keep up, my friend, we need to get warmer, it’s frosty now in usually warm Florida!

While mesmerizing people in order for them to obey your will using occult sciences was practiced long before socialism showed up on a historical scene, Soviet socialist regime used it in organized way through the system they created to influence consciousness of the masses in order to have their blind obedience while paving the road to communism. Most of the time people who believed in God were excluded from such influence and therefore were considered as “dangerous elements” by Soviet socialist regime. While opposing faith in God, socialism needs people to believe in its Utopian doctrine in order to control them.  Therefore socialists with their atheist foundation not just aim to destroy any form of organized faith, but to substitute it with their own godless religion. Speaking of it I’m using present tense because the system of influence developed and organized in Soviet Union’s psychiatric institutions and KGB secret labs was exported to many countries of the word in order to build world socialism and is still in use everywhere, even here in America. If you will look with open mind you’ll see that the United Nations Organization and its New World Order are soaked in occult. As I explained in one of my previous podcasts, the Meditation room at the UN headquarters serves New World Order leaders as the place where they draw their spiritual energy needed to exercise their influence on the world. At the same time socialists are trying to eliminate any official presence of God’s Word, like removing 10 commandments from courthouses and other government buildings. It reminds me a lot what we had in Soviet Union. While the use of public buildings for religious services in the USSR was forbidden, traveling hypnotists, employed by socialist regime were welcomed to perform their shows in any soviet city or village. At their mass hypnosis sessions these hypnotizers always had anti-religious message. They were implanting in the consciousness of the masses that there is no God, that preachers and pastors are just hypnotizing them to get their money and other things, while they, socialists, were using their hypnosis to save people, to cure and protect them from poisonous influence of religion. While those who defend hypnosis present it as something scientific, we, persecuted believers in Soviet Union, always understood it as something demonic and occult. We understood it as the part of the battle between good and evil, God and Satan, heaven and hell. Mocking religious beliefs as something “unscientific”, as if science has more importance than faith in God, Soviet socialist regime used hypnotists and their so-called “scientific” message to implant seeds of evil in pervious souls. Many soviet people were attracted to such public hypnosis sessions, because people whose faith in God was destroyed are still spiritual beings and their inner spiritual need was channeled to hypnosis and into occult. While people had a choice not to attend such sessions, another use of hypnosis and occult by soviet regime was almost impossible to avoid. I’m talking about something that was used against me and millions other soviet people, something that I personally survived. I’m talking about KGB interrogations and Soviet psychiatry that used combination of hypnosis and specially designed drugs, like barbamil and aminasin, known in English as chlorpromazine. There were multiple purposes of such treatment, like breaking one’s will for future cooperation with Soviet authorities; extracting secrets from foreign spies and members of underground opposition; zombie programming for special operations or simply making someone mentally ill and then keeping him locked in a mental hospital for life, if for some reasons such person could not be eliminated. In order to suppress another person’s will also was and is used the mixture of luminal with lophophora (known as Peyote cactus) or yohimbine hydrochloride. For the same purpose can be quite effective some other standard medications and plants like datura, triftazin, Ipecacuanha root. As the disclaimer, keep in mind, I’m not giving here any medical advice and I do not suggest any use of the medicine and plants you hear in this podcast. The only purpose is to educate and warn people of America and other countries of what can be used against them. In order to achieve the desired results, those evil doers developed so-called “technology of implantation”. It is composed of three sequential steps:

1. “Brainwashing” (clearing memory of some content, breaking landmarks in time and space, creating indifference to the past and future). Using hypnosis and strong sedatives (like mixture of barbamil with chlorpromazine), the object is immersed in a long (about 15 days) sleep, during which for the active destruction of memory, sessions of cerebral electroshock electrocution are performed 2 times a day (in the manner of convulsive therapy with pulse amplitude of up to 150 volts).

2. Verbal encoding (an active influence on the sub-consciousness, in which certain ideas, views, goals and objectives are being introduced). Round the clock for 10-15 days, the recording of the planned inculcation is being played, and at the end of each session, for a clearer perception of inculcated information, the treated person is exposed to electric shocks, by summing up the electrodes to his legs.

3. Fixation (mastering control of the things being implanted). Object of manipulation is stuffed with drugs and neuroleptic drugs that suppress his will (eg, chlorpromazine). Simultaneously conversations are conducted for many hours, during which is tested how well the implantation is assimilated and patterns of behavior in different situations are worked out.

As you can see, even from this brief description, it is not a joke or mind game. The above described methods and steps were used in the USSR and are being used in other countries, including America, probably with newer and more effective drugs. Uneducated people never know when such methods are used against them. Although it might be difficult or even impossible to avoid personal planned attack against you, everyone who cares should take precaution measures in order to avoid the combination of mass poisoning and hypnosis. Here is some personal advice on things to watch and avoid:

First, have faith in God. Stay away from suspicious preachers and religious activists. Some of them may be secret servants of socialist brainwashing machine, wolves in a sheepskin. In one story I recall from Soviet times, KGB found out when and where underground church meeting will have place. They sent there their special agent who pretended to be a visiting preacher. When offered to share the Word, he spoke with such effect, that everyone present cried uncontrollably. After preaching he prayed and some people were healed. After the service, when everyone approached to shake his hand, he took his cigar and began smoking, something that was unacceptable among soviet believers. Pastor, shocked, approached him, asking: “How you can do it, brother?” After which so-called “brother” presented his KGB ID card and told pastor he’s under arrest. Then everyone present cried again.

Second thing, watch what you eat and drink. Tap water you have in your house contains chlorine and fluoride. Most of people are convinced to believe that it is there for their good, for better health, when in fact, the effect is opposite. Fluoride is proven toxin and should never be added to drinking water. Chlorine, while kills microbes and bacteria that cause sickness when gets in our bodies also kills good bacteria, disrupts cellular function and lowers immunity. If you are personally targeted, or are in the targeted crowd, avoid free drinks of food. It can contain some chemicals that are there to work in combination with a mass hypnosis. If you suspect you can be targeted, avoid ordering home delivery food, like pizza. The best way for you and your family to stay protected is to grow and prepare your own food and drinks, distill your water or filter it with advanced filtering system that can remove even fluoride. At least, boil your water, make your own tea and stop drinking soda, it is bad anyway, with or without conspiracy.

Third thing, educate your children. Public school teachers and college professors in Soviet Union were all agents of socialist brainwashing machine, as many of them are here in America. In case you are in a situation that you have no other choice, but to send your kids to a public school or college, before you do that you must be confident that the foundation you educated your children on is strong and able to withstand attacks that they will be subject to.

Fourth thing, avoid eye contact and physical contact with the attacker when you are on a defense. Keep in mind that the attacker may be a sweet, young lady if you are a man, or nice, polite gentleman, if you’re a girl or woman. Never let emotions to take you off guards, by surprise. Eye contact and touching in certain ways are very effective for the attacker, which means – very dangerous for you. My wife often notices that I’m not looking in people’s eyes. Well, sorry… It just became a habit through the years of persecution. While sometimes it may be regarded as inappropriate and may cause a little trouble, doing it while being interrogated by KGB, or while in soviet psychiatric institution definitely saved me from bigger problems.

Fifth thing, avoid participating in any suspicious activities, games or groups if you’re not confident it is right thing to be there, even if you are invited there by your friend or relative and even if it is under a banner of some good cause.

Sixth thing, avoid using things previously used or owned by someone else. If there is no other way, like you have to drive used car, don’t use it without first performing neutralizing procedure over it.

Seventh thing, avoid of being attacked by catching your enemy off guard and attacking first; train yourself to be a warrior and practice the knowledge you learn here. And again, another disclaimer, I’m not calling to a physical fight or to terrorizing other people just because you suspect they may attack you. Besides, as a Bible believer, I firmly believe that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness in high places. But, while living on this earth, we must be prepared to confront the servants of evil rulers of the darkness of this world.

Hey, everyone, sorry didn’t post for a while, didn’t have time to work on my transcripts. Here I am back, continuing from where stopped! (The following is the transcript of podcast # 64 from Dec. 13 2010)

Hello, my friends, this is Alex! Welcome to Socialism Survival Podcast # 064. I don’t know what to call it, tradition or fate, but this Monday is even colder than previous and I had to use lots of my time to take care of my garden. While I’m working now on this podcast, the temperature rapidly drops outside. Even Florida Governor Crist announced today the State of Emergency, because subfreezing temperatures are threatening to kill crops and, of course, damage Floridian economy. While we all know that government’s freeze damages our economy a lot more, I thought while warming up back inside my home that it could be helpful and educating to talk about our survival of cold winters in Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic where I was born and grew up.

First, I was born when it was cold season. That meant a lot, especially for baby’s father. Because fathers weren’t allowed inside maternity hospitals and few of them had cars, they had to wait outside under multi-story building for hours to find out if everything went OK, who was born, boy or girl or maybe even twins. Babies were usually delivered in a delivery room. After child was born, mom was placed into recovery chamber with few other women and then either she or someone from that chamber would open the window above and yell to happy father with flowers in his hands and icicles hanging from his nostrils: “Hey! Dance, young man! You have a son!” Or “daughter” if it was girl…

Before gasification reached our area of the city most of the homes were heated by brick stoves using both, wood and coal. I remember, my grandfather’s brother was big master in construction of such stoves and whenever new houses were built – he was in great demand. Unlike American common fireplace where most of the heat is wasted, Russian or Ukrainian brick stove or oven (can be translated either way) had air passages built in such way that hot air was used to its maximum. The one we had in our Ukrainian home as well as the most I’ve seen were stove, oven and furnace combined; I’m just using the word “stove” for the convenience. Our stove was located in the big room that was the kitchen, living and dining room combined. The hot air traveled inside the wall that divided two other rooms. As the result, 3 rooms were directly heated. And fourth room adjacent to the living/dining/kitchen area had its door always open to keep it warm. The stove had two sets of rounds on the top that covered one small and one large hole for various pan sizes. To increase direct heat some rounds were removed from under the pan, to decrease – the opposite was done. Maybe it is just my opinion based on childhood memories, but I think that mom’s borsht and pancakes, prepared on that oven tasted lot better, than what we have now cooked on modern electric stoves. In the oven hollow we baked all kind of pies and cakes. In the warm seasons, when the brick stove wasn’t used, our family cooked either on propane/butane stove or in another small building that was called “summer kitchen” where we had another brick stove. From few things that I described you can see that the stove had multiple purposes: it was the source of heat to keep our house warm and it was place for cooking, frying and baking. But not only this: in the winter the laundry after being freeze-dried outside was then brought inside close to the stove to finish drying process. Sometimes, when I needed quickly a pair of clean socks or a shirt, I would hand wash it with soap and then throw it on the top of hot oven to dry. Or if we were hungry and couldn’t wait for someone to cook, we would just throw few potatoes in the oven, bake and eat it. In the winter we would often drink wild dog-rose hot tea that was in the pot, always hot on the top of the oven. The taste of that tea was so special and the color was almost red after sitting there for hours. The stove or oven was also used to melt whatever needed to be melted, for water heating, for tempering steel and even for destroying things. As a young boy I loved writing poems in my room, next to the heated wall. I tried to do it in secrecy, but once my poems were discovered and read out loud by my sister. I got so mad that grabbed my manuscripts, opened the burning stove and threw it in the fire. I am sorry I did that, but being 10-11 years old I didn’t have any desire to share my feelings and my talent with the world.

In the winter we would eat whatever was harvested and preserved from our garden, like canned tomatoes, cucumbers, also potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic from the cellar. Everything we were eating in the winter was received in exchange for our hard work. Of course, don’t forget, our dad had to buy a lot of wood and coal for our brick stoves. And after dump truck unloaded it next our house, we boys had to carry it in buckets from there to the storage area. It took hours to do that! I remember as a small boy looking terrified at the mountain of heavy anthracite, well even coke and thinking I’ll die next to it. Of course, running all day in the field and in trenches with brothers and friends wouldn’t hurt me as much as that coal!

My friends, socialists promised us happy, warm, well fed future. They just forgot to mention that they plan to deliver all that with our own hands. And our struggle there was just the way to tell them that we can do all of that without them forcing us to work for the fulfillment of their promises.

While staying warm in my home on cold Floridian night with temperature at freezing point and while melting delicious chocolate in my mouth I enjoy sharing with you my memories of Soviet Union meltdown that started approximately 20 years ago. Some people are saying: “Who could believe that such powerful empire would collapse?!” Well, we believed, because we were building our future with our own hand in spite of socialism promises to build better future… using our hands. We believed, because if was prohibited to believe. We believed, because God said so! Yes, the Soviet Union collapse was also predicted in many prophecies.

I hope, my American friends, you know now what to do when you go out and see as your liberal socialist neighbor prepares to build the Utopian future with your hands. You know now what to do when your socialist government is trying to build their paradise with the money they had stolen from you. And if you know – believe in it and do it. With your own hands…

Few months ago my wife gave me a book “Thou shall prosper” written by Rabbi Daniel Lapin with foreword by Dave Ramsey. The purpose of such gift was of course to make me and my family more successful and prosperous. According to Dave Ramsey, he would only hire someone who had read this book. Although I didn’t plan to get hired on Dave Ramsey show, I still respected him for inspiring our family to get rid of debt and therefore finally started reading the book with “Ten Commandments for Making Money” as its subtitle. Let me tell you, I wasn’t disappointed. While I didn’t finish yet the whole book, just first 50 pages, and while the word “socialism” rarely mentioned there, but to my surprise many things I’ve read are resonating with my anti-socialist message. While presenting Jewish approach to business and making money, Rabbi Daniel explains how we are all persuaded here in America that business is evil, which is actually giving explanation to one part of American socialist propaganda. Soviet regime did the same. Under Stalin’s leadership private businesses were demonized by Soviet socialist propaganda in order to wind up public opinion and to justify later the seizure of factories and farms and murder of innocent, hardworking people. When Rabbi Daniel explains how children in America from early education are taught that business is bad, that reminds me Soviet education that I survived under socialism dictatorship. Demonizing entrepreneurship is a part of building mass slave mentality, because owning successful business gives you independence and that is totally against socialists agenda whose plans are to see next generation of Americans as obedient slaves who will knead the clay with their feet for the construction of their socialist utopia.

In the next point Rabbi Lapin shows that those who make Movies and Television conspire to make you poor. Of course, Hollywood socialist zombies excluded themselves from the demonized business category. They still want to stuff their pockets with your cash and do not consider it immoral. And no one even gets that crazy idea that socialist ruling elite must be poor also. When socialists speak of equality of rights, they do not mean equality between you and them, but equality among you, slaves. Maybe they as elite want be all equally rich among themselves, but the same time they are convincing the rest of the people that they must be equally happy being equally poor. By repeating their mantra over and over that business is evil American media that is 90 % works on socialist camp prepares US citizens to even larger government takeover than what we have seen so far…

Look, even Vladimir Putin, who’s not, obviously God’s gift to the world, even he understands, of course considering his vast soviet experience, that America with its socialism is on the wrong track, actually on its road to self-destruction, the road to poverty.

And, concluding today’s subject, I believe we would agree again with Rabbi Daniel Lapin that only by teaching morality of making business and instilling moral principles of God’s Word America will be able to restore its prosperity. Of course, not everyone who is in business is doing in right, there are thieves. And my intuition says, most of them are on the left side. But generally, natural selection works in business very well. If you are dishonest, selfish person, other will turn away from you and you will fail. And on the other hand, if doing your business honestly you provide to others what they need, you will deservedly prosper. It may look strange, but it is what it is, that socialism which is based on atheism, believes in the Darwin’s Natural Selection when speaks about the nature, but denies the same approach when it comes to the business. For example, instead of allowing natural selection to decide the fate of GM Corporation, they bailed out GM out, in other words, placed big business in socialist purse, using your money. How long it will go and how far it will get? Nobody knows for sure. We are in a war right here. And whoever wins will decide the future of this great country and eventually – the fate of the world.

There are two kinds of fear.

First is exaggerated and second is reasonable. Socialism, surely, has both and we need to know how to position ourselves, what actions to take and what actions to refrain from in order to survive.

While socialism threatens the society, but doesn’t have yet total control of it, it is predominantly exaggerated kind of fear. Yes, there is some level of reasonable fear too, like occasionally some ideological maniacs may start shooting here and there. And yes, even such situations and their casualties are highly unwanted, because they cause suffering and fill people’s minds and hearts with fear, but it is yet far from what happened in Soviet Union, North Korea, China, Vietnam or Cuba, where socialism had or still has total control of every side of societal life, including work or economy, recreation, family; army and police forces in these countries were and are used to enforce the will of political elite, to persecute and murder their own citizens. Soviet government that had extensive intelligence network all over the world spied more against own people, than in other countries. Communists of the USSR knew they didn’t do anything to earn the trust and love of ordinary people and were building their socialist utopia upon human flesh and bones. The fear was used to subordinate the will of the people to the will of Soviet Communist party. That was a reasonable fear, because communists not only threatened but did what they said, murdering people by millions in Soviet GULAG system.

However, it is our choice what to do when we face either kind of fear. When Russian people saw the threat of Lenin’s revolution, they did many different choices. Some, facing the fear of the Red Terror escaped to other countries, some hid in underground and some joined communists, believing they will be spared if they go with the tide. When Stalin’s killing machine rushed at full speed, and the fear of being arrested next was present every night in every home, people also acted differently. Some hurried to report their innocent friends, parents, children, brothers and sisters as the enemies of the Soviet state in hopes that will prove their faithfulness to the ideals of Communist Party and guarantee their own safety. But, while some had chosen the path of betraying their family and friends, other people, facing the same fear, remained faithful to their loved ones and to their own conscience. Those who believed in God, had way stronger foundation for their faithfulness, because their predecessors, like Joseph, who refused to sleep with his master’s wife and ended up in jail, or like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who refused to worship the idol and were thrown in the red-hot oven, or like Daniel who was thrown into lion’s den for praying to God, they all showed the example and inspired the following generations of believers.

Right now and right here in America, socialist propaganda machine has more powerful tools and better financial base to spread the fear in order to achieve the results favorable to them. Take again, for example, what is going now with this TSA screening. Don’t you really see what is going on here? It looks for me like the American population split over this issue when it should be loudly and aggressively opposed, because socialists in power intentionally lowered nation’s security in order to implant the fear of terror in people’s hearts so that they would accept such mockery of human rights as something necessary for their survival. What America needs right now is mass boycott of Airlines and millions of people united against such tyranny, standing on the streets of Washington DC, sleeping there in tents, until such screening will be cancelled. Do we see that happening now? No. No! Like we didn’t see it one year ago when healthcare overhaul was voted in the congress and signed in the White House. People accepted humiliation once again as the part of their new socialistic reality, as something inevitable, as the part of Change that was promised in the last presidential elections. Remember Hope and Change? That’s what you’re getting right now! No more security confidence, only security hope; no more healthcare choice, only healthcare hope and so on… That’s the Change you voted for, America! And now it’s your choice, America, how you will react to these Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals implementations that happen right in front of your eyes. Following these Rules, American socialists use fear exaggerating tactics to destroy the spirit, soul and body of this great country. Answer me now, my American friends who patiently swallow this humiliation, what would you do, if you will be told that all conservatives who will dare to go and vote on the Election Day in 2012 will be shot or stabbed in the back? I almost hear you saying that you will be bold and strong… But, what is going right now – isn’t it the stab in your back? In my opinion it is. That’s why I’m not silent, that’s why I spend yet another hour fighting socialist propaganda of fear with my counter-propaganda. Now is your turn to go out and share this with other Americans. Let me repeat what I said in previous podcasts, because you will hear it over and over again: only through effective anti-socialist propaganda and strong and courageous people who follow God’s command in Joshua 1:6-7, this great Land of the Free will be such not in the name only.
